Riding around Lake Ginninderra is a lot of fun. The Pedestrian Path is relatively flat and well sign-posted for directions and distances. There are plenty of places to stop for a rest, toilet amenities and playgrounds for other activities along the way.
Following the Pedestrian Path around the foreshore of Lake Ginninderra is a cool 7km. For the most part, the Path is relatively flat and paved/sealed the whole way. The Path is wide enough for runners, walkers and cyclists to share alike.
Western Foreshore Park has a Learn to Ride Centre which is ideal for younger cyclists to have a practice and learn all about road rules in a safe environment.
For those hoping to do a bit of trail riding, the Parkland around Lake Ginninderra does offer some off-road excitement.
