Kicking off the season is our Sydney Road Trip to Liverpool to compete against the best in the west.

In November you can try your hand in the Pentathlon at the LA ACT Multi-event Championships.

If competing as part of a team is more your thing, the LA ACT Relay Carnival offers something for everyone, not just running, but throwing and jumping as well.

Ginninderra will help you in your transition to the big league too. Free dual registration with ACT Athletics and introduction to the AIS and Open Competition, Professional Gift Races with NSW Athletic League, preparation for ALAC and Australian All Schools Competitions.

One stepping stone to National Championships is attendance at the Hunter Track Classic as a member of the 10 strong ACT team. Open to all registered U14 Athletes at Ginninderra.

Closer to home, Ginninderra Seniors visit the other Little Athletics Centres for cross-town competition, especially during January when the southside clubs hold their Carnivals. The Tigers also attend ACT Athletics Friday night competitions at the AIS throughout the season (check out the latest results from Interclub).

The first carnival of the year is actually at Charnwood in October, when the best Seniors in the ACT visit the Tigers on their home turf. Join the team at the Tigers and compete on a higher level this season.

BTW – each weekend at Ginninderra, Seniors can compete against any Athlete, Boy or Girl, from U14 to U17s. Performances are still counted in their respective age groups, yet enhanced by the opportunity to get increased competition, while enjoying bigger crowd support and having more team mates celebrate individual performances, more often.

Every year Athletes from Ginninderra’s Seniors compete at the Australian All Schools Championships (U14 – U18, Nov/Dec) and the Australian Little Athletics Championships (U13 and U15 Multi-Event, Apr).
