Located along Lake Ginninderra’s Northern Peninsula, the Foreshore stretches 800 metres between Diddams Close Park and the Jetty on the edge of Bargang Gum Forest. The Lake Ginninderra Pedestrian Pathway is quite wide and plenty of Lake Visitors make the most of a stroll or some exercise along the Foreshore’s edge.
The Northern Peninsula Foreshore has amazing views across the lake to The Promenade on Emu Bank, the Western Foreshore Park or the brilliant Lake Ginninderra Skyline.
There is an abundance of wildlife, leafy trees and perfect picnic spots to stop, sit back and relax along Lake Ginninderra. The Foreshore has two Jetties going out onto the Lake for you to enjoy a more immersive experience.
If exploring is of interest, there is a short “off the beaten path” track that runs along the foreshore to explore in your good time.
