The Police Jetty at the Promenade, Emu Inlet, is the most recognisable landmark on Lake Ginninderra. It was once part of the original Ginninderra House precinct, that hosted the Police on Lake Ginninderra for many years.
The Police Jetty these days is in an ideal location to take scenic photos of the lake or for a spot of fishing. We are reliably informed that a bardi grub is the perfect treat for the Murray Cod that can be found in Lake Ginninderra.
The Jetty is susceptible to flooding when there has been a large storm in the Belconnen area and can disappear under water.
